think about this the next time you get sad about the state of the world. think that if you didn't have access to news media (i.e. television, newspaper, Internet) would you be aware of anything that is happening? would you know 9/11 happened? would you know the crocodile hunter died? nope. you would live your life in buffered solitude. what a weird world that would be. almost like there was inherent anonymity in existence, unlike today where we are very present of the idea that everything we say or do can be easily observed by anyone from almost anywhere on, in, or out of the planet.

Tracy get off the sofa and stop watching the news. Get out and get a life. You are what you eat and you think what the news tells you. And the news isn't exactly honest or interested in anything that isn't bleeding, burning or dying.
