What makes me angry the most is when people use bad spelling and grammer. I mean, haven't they ever gone to school? They are SO dumb. At least I have some intellagence. Do you hate bad spellers, too?

Yes! I hate bad spellers too. There is a lot of kids on here that cannot spell, but what is shocking is that there are adults here that write these questions that make no sense to begin with, besides that every word is misspelled.

I agree with your subject matter, but "intelligence" is spelled "i-n-t-e-l-l-i-g-e-n-c-e", not "intellagence". Yes, as my son and daughter know all to well, I DETEST bad spelling. And calling it a typo is no excuse. God Bless you.

@Samantha: Yes you can. The rules of the English language allow for the use of 'and' or 'but' in the beginning of a sentence. You just shouldn't do it in formal writing such as a business letter. Look it up. It's perfectly acceptable. And yeah, I definitely know what you mean.

I do too, but sometimes i have typos. It comes with typing and trying to go to fast. As far as spelling goes, if you're talking about on here it is pure laziness cause there is a spell check.

i do! like i hate them a lot! especially text typing. where instead of THEM they spell it as DEM. or something like that. or sometimes people would spell it the way they say it. which should not be the case...a person should be able to speak and spell english correctly at the same time.

Ok, I can understand where you are coming from. But before you rip on others about their spelling maybe you should do some spell checking of your own.

Well for one thing this isn't school and most people like to use online words and chat. I am a student but I hardly ever use the "correct" grammar and spelling online. One reason I am on the computer is to get away from school.

Sometimes I type too fast and catch mistakes after posting. Then it cracks me how dumb folks wanna feel smart by pointing out the spelling instead of being smart enough to think "Maybe he was typing too fast".
