The peg is a fat encapsulated molecule of interferon; INF is a chemical that is produced by your body when you are fighting off an illness, like the flu. In fact, it's your own body's production of INF that makes you feel tired and achy when you have the flu. I'm not sure what Ribavirin's chemical composition is, but it prevents the virus from replicating. It can cause anemia, which can make you dizzy if you stand up too fast. The anemia can be treated with Procrit.
I did the non-pegylated INF and ribavirin 6 years ago and have been undetectable ever since. Best wishes to you.
