They do work, but the Milton Bradley ones are dangerous or at least ineffective. They should never be worked with only 1 or 2 people, but rather use at least 3-5. You should keep the board wrapped in a cloth with a binding rune, and keep the planchette in it's own pouch also with a binding rune on it- the planchette serves as a gateway, thus all the binding runes. If you don't know what binding runes are... then you shouldn't be using a board to begin with. Also, you can use various incenses for enticing spirits as well as banishing them. It's also good to have at least one person writing down what is said and acting as "secretary." Often what is said may not be in English, and may be slightly garbled so some translation might be needed later to figure out what was said. Basically, they are useful tools if you know how to use them and use them safely, but to those who don't they can be dangerous. If you don't know how to be safe, stay away from them!

Ouija boards are essentially portals between this world & the next. SInce the time they were created people have thought of them as negative but they don't have to be.
They can be dangerours if you don't use them with care & respect. It is not a game. And if you intend to call upon darkness that is exactly what you will get. If you use them while drunk or high you are inviting darkeness (evil) into your body as well - very dangerous!
If you want to contact Divine Beings or Angels you can do that as well. You have to set the intention and be respectful.

My advice is not to contact spirits through these means without someone who knows what they are doing and even then, I think that it is possible that you can open a type of portal from the other side and from the left door (not hell but where dark entities go after they die and make a horseshoe trip back here into utero).
My friend used a ouja board when she was younger with the neighbour kids, she said that something happened that scared all of them but then again it could have been fabricated, you know when you are young you tend to exaggerate or imagine things. But no experiences here with ouija.
I do believe in spirits and I do believe in the other side. That we don't die, our bodies do the vehicle that we come here in but not our spirits. And I believe we have come here as a contract with God to learn and experience, to perfect our souls for God and that the other side or heaven what ever you want to call it is home.

Fun for kids. Some adults also fall for it, but people, in general, are superstitious. It's usually not that difficult to freak someone out.
What's even more fun about Ouija boards is that the people using them don't even realize they are faking themselves out. Though, I suspect that in most cases, it's just one of the people holding the Ouija thingy trying to freak out the rest there.
People will fall for any trick.

About 10 years ago or so, I used to spend the night over a friend of mine's and they had one. Well everytime we could go get a board game or something in his sister's room I would see the game sitting there. One night, I suggested we play it, so we did. From what I remember, the thing moved, we asked it stupid and pointless questions, just to see what it would say. Then again it might of been my friend pushing the thing, even though he denyed it, it sure wasn't me.
The Bible clearly states for that people should not dabble in the demonic forces that are around us. Saul went to a witch after Samuel died(samuel was a prophet from God), which Samuel clearly told Saul to go to Nathan after he died. Nathan would then go to God. For Saul's punishment of seeking the witch and not God, he would lose his kingdom and I think it even resulted in death. Anyone who would go to a witch or was a witch was condemned to death.
STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!! There are demonic forces behind the game, which people want you to think they are just fun and games, just a game, clearly not, its just another portal to the satanic side. I played the game before I was saved and I didn't know at first that I should not play it
Look to Jesus for any questions you have

I watched Penn and Tellers B.S. They did a story on ouja boards and proved it to be B.S. My personal views, I dont think I buy into it neither. I'm not going to play with one though, you never can be to safe.

I think it's charming that some people are so afraid of a bit of cardboard and a plastic "mouse." You can buy them at Toys R' Us for around $15... now That's a tool of Satan!
Honestly, they are just like any other psychic phenomena... a hoax.

Its fun. My girlfriend when I was in the 8th grade actually brought one to school, we all gathered around the thing, did as she instructed us to do, and put our hands on it in a circle. She began to ask it questions, don't remember just what questions, but will tell you this, the whole damn table began to rise up! We screamed (like silly girls do) and the teacher came over, and took the thing, and the girl....well she was asked to leave the school never to be heard from again.
