I've never had a serious relationship, just so you know. There is this guy at my youth group that I really like alot, and he likes me, but its kind of hard since we go to different highschools. I heard he's crushing on this other girl at his school, and I can't help but being jealous. Then on the other hand, there is this jerk at my school that is incredibly good looking, and flirted with me so much last year, but completely ignored me this year. But then all of a sudden today he came up and hugged me and it stirred feelings within me that I had never felt before. I really don't know what to do. This is really eating me up inside because I love the boy at my youth group, but then why don't I feel the same about him as I do with the boy at school? Maybe it could be infatuation? Please only serious answers.

Girls are suppposed to be pursued. the boys long for the challenge and the girl loves to be pursued! So wait it out and see what happens, and always rememeber what kind of guy you want to marry, those are the boys who you need to date. Don't waste your precious time with boys who don't meet all your standards, and hopefully since you attend a youth group you will have high ones, and really want a guy with good morals etc:)

It is very normal to feel confused. I believe that you have a major crush for the guy at your youth group. The only thing you can do is to wait and see who speaks up and tells you how they feel, or you can risk telling the guy at your youth group that you like him. However, I doubt that these will be your last crushes.

being away from someone you love is really hard. I know i live 2 and 1/2 hours away from my BF. The guy at your school is most likely lust and will probably try to use you. You should ask the guy at your youth group who you really care about out. Maybe he is just a bit to shy. And as long as you trust him and he cares about you and isnt a cheater you should be fine...
hope this helps
