I believe it
Now as He [that’s Jesus] sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, ‘Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered and said to them: ‘Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.”
Matthew 24:3-7

People say we always have had wars and famine but read on

“All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
Matthew 24:8

The word Jesus uses for sorrows is the word “odin” which translated means contractions or labor pains.

The closer the contractions the sooner the arrival

What are the three areas that Jesus said to watch out for?

Religious world
Political world
Natural world

Religious World:
It is estimated that about 1000 people in America alone claim they are Jesus

Political World:
In the 20th century over 200 million people died as a result of war
There are 38 armed conflicts going on in 28 nations
Terrorist attacks in 2003 totaled 175. It rose to 655 in 2004

Natural World
Almost 1/6 of the world’s population can’t meet basic nutritional needs
Pestilence- AIDS, SARS, Bird Flu, Mad Cow Disease, West Nile Virus
The Hurricanes of the past few yrs
In the first 1500 yrs after Jesus the earth averaged about 2 major earthquakes each century
But it made a dramatic increase over the next 4 centurites until it reached about 130 in the 1900s

I believe it.

i think they're comin up soon. (there's lots of stuff in the Bible that hints at a lot that's going on right now... stuff that's happening kinda all at once but happened a lot less often then.) i'd say i believe it so much that before i got married, i was thinking it might happen before i got to. now i'm saying that i believe it enough to think it might happen before i start trying to have kids... which is in the next two years. i think it's better safe than sorry. you don't want to go around life thinking you've got all the time in the world and then not be ready when the time comes...

The world was around for billions of years before people and it will be around for billions of years after people.

So, no. And if it's the last days for people - well, that's up to how quickly we can put aside differences and realize that without peace there is no hope.

No.

Every prediction of the end days in the last 2000 years have been wrong. I don't think prophets have any credibility anymore.

Because most Bible prophecies have come true, and in 2 Peter it gives us one of the signs of the times, and we are definatley in the season. Here is one of them

2 Peter chapter 3 v 3
First, I want to remind you that in the last days there will be scoffers who will laugh at the truth and do every evil they desire.

Excluding some sort of disaster we got about 4 billion years or so. That is the current thinking.

i don't know if these are the last days or not! why? because ONLY God knows when the end of days is.

he gave us signs! major ones and minor ones.
many of the minor signs have occured so we are kinda getting there but when exactly is the end of days? NO ONE knows except for HIM!! the Creator of ALL..
