Ok so you can do many different styles, and many different ways.

if you want spirals with perfect body, go with a curling iron and size. First, hair spray your hair, then curl, then hair spray lightly. This is because when you curl your hair, it will burn away the first hair spray and keep it that way, and then the second layer is a safety coat. I call it S.O.A. (spray on always)

If you want a easy way to curl hair, then do it the old fashion way. Put curlers in while your hair is damp. You can also put your hair in tight, loose, or many braids to get a crimped look.

Then there is the scrunching way. Buy a good brand ( i hear aussie is great) and follow the directions and scrunch scrunch scrunch!

With all of these ways, make sure you hair spray. If nothing works, ask your hair dresser, get a perm, or buy a new brand of products!

PS: For a good look, you can always braid you hair loosely when its dry before going to bed, then when you wake, scrunch away!

I suggest using a larger barrel curling iron instead of say a 1/2 inch one. Also, before you begin, spray in a curling gel, either that holds curls or helps to mold you hair. Also, when you are finish, use a blow dryer to blast the curls with air, then hairspray them with an extra hold spray.

Use a curling iron and a tight hairspray so it will hold when you go outside.

Try using gel on wet hair after brushing it out, and you can either let it air dry or use a diffuser
