I know this isn't boxing, but since boxer have seen more people being knocked out than most people in martial arts. I'm wondering if this guy at very end of the clip is dead? Feel free to skip everything toward last 30 secs or so to see the guy. I normally wouldn't assume someone is dead, but few of my friends were discussing about it. So I'm curious now. Here's the video

Its very hard to tell from the video
I looked for a number of indicators
1 He didnt appear to have a complete cervical break as there was still relatively strong neck support when he was being carried over the guys shoulder. That however doesnt preclude spinal cord damage bad enough to kill him.
2 The hit he took to the back of the head when he hit the canvas
wasnt good either that part of the brain, the Medulla controls heart and breathing so if it gets damaged you are in deep crap
3He was bleeding from the mouth badly so I would say he had at the very least a badly broken jaw.
4 It was very hard to see chest movement to tell if he was breathing so that was inconclusive
5 I couldnt see any evidence that he had evacuated his bladder or bowels at death as the video colour was ordinary and kept changng.
All in all though I would suggest that his prognosis isnt good. The post hit treatment by the handlers was bloody pathetic. They did everything the opposite of what they should of. So if he had only minor neck cord damage before, by the time they finished with him it was much worse.

Hard to say--I've seen guys knocked out cold and end up OK, and seen guys who looked OK after the fight wind up dead the next day. A lot of it depends on the treatment he receives after the fight--the real risk is hemmorage in the brain, or inter-cranial pressure caused by a hemmorage. Since the best post fight treatment they give the guy in the video is to massage his face I'm not thinking that it turned out really well for the guy.

Yes I think this guys dead...His neck snapped back and wasn't moving when the people were talking to him..It was an extremely hard hit.

If not he's certainly in a coma of sorts ,whether he comes out of it is any- ones guess.
