If it is impossible to PROVE the existence of God? How would it ever be possible for me to really know i was Saved? or i was a Christian?

What does it mean to believe with your heart? does it mean to have the knowledge? or be sure he died on the cross? how can i be sure?

Try repeating it a lot. You might convince yourself eventually.

"With you heart" generally implies that you have some emotion behind the belief. That is, you really want to believe. That makes sense, since almost all arguments for religion are emotional in nature and not factual.

Well, if you're seeking, I'd encourage you to read some of the Bible. I love the gospel of John. It has so many good things to say. You're right that you can't prove it, but I've learned from experience that He will help you to have more faith if you're seeking. Jesus said, "seek and you will find". I wasn't always a Christian. I lived a pretty awful life for awhile, and Jesus saved me, and He's done awesome things in my life. I doubted at times, but now I know that it's true. I'm a pretty rational person, and I didn't just believe in the Lord for no reason. He really is amazing. I don't know exactly how you will personally know for sure, but at least pray and ask that if He's there, He'll help you to know. And feel free to email me. I love to encourage people, and I've had some really cool experiences since I gave my life to the Lord. So I hope I can help you in some way.

The proof of God's existence is in Nature and everything that he's made, including us.

We also have historical proof that Jesus existed on earth. People gave up their own lives to proclaim the scriptures and teachings of Jesus's plan for our salvation. Witnesses besides the apostles of Jesus saw him crucified, living again and then also rise into the heavens telling everyone he'd return again.
Other witnesses--that's proof.

It's faith...that's what helps you know you're a Christian. You just trust God's Word the Bible. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

If you believe that....you're a Christian. The more you read the Bible, you'll get to know God's nature. Start by reading the book of John in the Bible first, it'll help you get to know God's love for us and what Jesus chose to do for all of us. Keep reading the New Testament first, it's all about the life of Christ and his teachings. The Old Testament explains lineage and has all the great stories of how things worked before Jesus came into the picture and made it so easy for us.

Believe with your heart is as simple as knowing your own name.

Here's a verse from the Bible that makes it clear that we see what he's made....which is our proof of his existence:

Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

I can tell you from my own experience, that I could honestly say there were no real absolutes. God was distant and when I'd pray to Him, nothing seemed to happen. But, that has all changed since I reached out to God in prayer seeking Him as my God and Lord and Savior and asking for forgiveness for all the things I knew in my heart were wrong. Then I asked Jesus to come into my heart and he did at that very moment. I felt it and from that point on God has revealed Himself to me. Now I can say I absolutely believe.

If you believe that Jesus Christ died for you on Calvary, that He was buried ,and rose again on that third day with ALL power in His hand then you are saved(whatever religion you choose to be).I hope the best for your life. Always, always stay with Jesus because He will be there in the time of trouble. He might not show up when you think He needs to show up, but He will show up and show out when the time is right for God knows the right thing to do.
God Bless,
Brianna

It means to have faith and know and i mean really know that he died on the cross to save you. he loves you and he wants you to come to him with your whole heart ready to receive him. if you dont go to church, find a bible beliving church and become commited. it is possible to prove the existenceof God. First you have to be a born again christain. not like reborn from your mother but beliveing and knowing in your heart that he died 4 you. Stay out of sin and read his word which is the bible and also pray to him and say that you want him to speak to you that you are ready for him and i bet he would speak to you. He is Lord and heaven and hell is real!

You cannot know that God exists with certainty or know beyond doubt that you are saved. Believing is a problem; what is important is faithing (English doesn't use faith as a verb, but Greek does, and it's all over the New Testament). Faith is trust that God does what God says God does.
Faith is not knowledge. It is faith.

if u really don't believe, try looking at this. There is nothing in the bible that has been proven wrong. So, if the bible is true, there must be the Lord. I can't force u to believe, but i suggest reading the bible. Whenever i'm in doubt, it reminds me that God is there, and Jesus died for us. That is how you know you're saved.

It is called an act of faith. One just knows, and then accepts, and with acceptance comes knowledge, from the knowledge of that which opens our heart, to see, heart to hear, you will know the love of God and the at one ment with Him. Don't listen with your ears, and try not to see with your eyes, close the door to material reasoning, and raise above the noises and sights of this material world, to glimpse that which is eternal. Through the Spirit of God, of which you have the key.

You have to convince yourself it's true one way or another.

The time i was closest to being a religious person was when i believed in god because i thought that there must be something wrong with me when everyone else believes this thing is real. Why would so many people believe something were true when it isn't? I've grown and learned and seen how easily one can fool themselves... especially when everyone else is doing it too.
