If you are using a word processor like Microsoft word, use Times Roman font and the I will have the bars on the top and bottom, otherwise, the ones above serve as Roman Numerals, using the uppercase i, v, and x.

like I=1 and II=2 and IV=4
the letters i and v and x are the numbers 1 5 and 10

roman numerals are letters
capital i is one - I
two - II
three- III
five is V
ten is X
and so on

are you serious, aren't they all letters?!?!? which if you look down are already there for you. XIV = 14, etc.
