Some say Al Qaeda = Mossad + CIA plus MI5 So the question you really should be asking is: ' what do the people who publicise the concept of Al Queda want?'
Whoever they really are you can rest assured that the 'war on terror' is largely created for propaganda purposes in order for the US administration to further the 'Project for a New American Century'
You are more likely to be poisoned by US military weapons grade Anthrax, have your sky scraper brought down by US manufactured Thermite or be blown up by American made explosives before you’re killed by a madman from ‘Al Qaeda’
This is not to say that will not read about ‘Al Qaeda’ attacking target all over the because the intention of your delightful government is to manufacture the voters consent by scaring you witless. Another technique possibly employed is the use of ‘cognitive dissonance’ by making the attacks so awful and shocking that people would not think to question their own government.
Trouble is all the pieces that prove the lies fit and all the lies don’t.

They want to control the Middle East, Mainly the oil fields for the money it produces. If they controlled the oil fields they would rule the earth. They would stop supplying oil to the US and our allies. We would have to buy from a third party or go take it from them.
Most people don't realize that is why Japan attacked the US in 1941. We didn't support them in their war against China and placed an oil embargo against Japan. They needed the oil for their industry so they attacked us. If we could not get the oil we would go take it. So it looks like this war IS about oil, but not to make the rich richer, but to keep our economy afloat. Image trying to drive to work everyday if gas was rationed and was over 6 or 7 dollars a gallon. How many of the items in the store could you afford if the shipping companies were paying that for fuel. Oil is very important to our economy, probably the most important. That is why we HAVE to have "friends" in the region.
Al Quieda is not a bunch of idiots. Well the leaders are not. How ingenious was the Sept. 11 attack? This is the type of stuff they live for, all they have known all their lives.

Since February 1998, when Osama bin Laden initially declared war on the United States, he's stated that the U.S. should vacate all Muslim "holy lands" and ... AND ... convert to Islam.
We could vacate those grounds, but I'm not feeling the whole conversion thing.
