You must be the ONLY person in the WORLD that cannot open the newspaper and find SEVERAL ads for Labs...and seeing they are all backyard breeders, the puppies are pretty cheap. You will pay a couple hundred, although they are not worth it. You can try a shelter, they may have some since Labs are a dime a dozen. Be prepared for a hyper, lanky one...that is all the backyard breeders breed!!!!

"The oldest that's allowed to be is a million month, and that i'm pushing it." and that i actually desire you meant 2 months because a 4 WEEK previous domestic dog HAS NO enterprise BEING offered " i don't desire a domestic dog that isn't good around youthful toddlers, cats, or dogs." education and genetics. ALL puppies want education and 3 hundred won't get you a properly bred dogs. 0-3 hundred gets your a byb rubbish that's everywhere in this breed or a pound domestic dog. check out petfinder. NO BYB BRED dogs. except you like to then spend a number of hundred to a number of grand handling genetic and temperament themes. ETA: and you're able to make up your ideas. You the two desire a purebred or no longer. A Lab blend domestic dog can actually become an grownup dogs that looks no longer something like a lab. looks are irrelevant and puppyhood isn't perpetually.

look on the internet for the lab rescue league in your area. your friend and her home will have to be approved by the group before adoption. Also this is not free.
