What was it like for you - please share?

For me, It was February and I was 14 at a youth camp. Somebody was preaching but I don't know if I heard a word they said - But I did remember feeling God's Spirit and feeling His very strong LOVE pour through the top of my head like a beam of white light. I was changed from that day on...

(That's the only way I can figure out how to describe it - sorry if it sounds kinda weird!)

I suppose I could point to approximately 33 A.D. as to the date I "got saved", since that's when Jesus conquered my sins on the cross. On the other hand, the Father chose me from before the beginning of time and gave me my faith when it was appropriate for Him to do so. Therefore I have to yield the question to Him as to an exact date -- or non-date...

YES! It was at a woman's conference, on March 9th, 1997. When I prayed that Jesus would take over my life, everyone kept hugging me when my friend told them. I thought:(wow, this must be some big deal)
On my way to church the next day (first time i'd ever been there) I felt the Holy Spirit in my car....I rolled up all the windows because I didn't want Him to get out! It was the first time I listened to Christian radio and I knew the words to the song! I had never heard it before!
So cool....things haven't been the same since...

BTW....as far as brainwashing....yup, if I can wash it with the blood of Jesus everything will be fine!

Yes I remember very well the day I was saved.

I was away at a Christian holiday conference, with my family, and news came that someone in our church back home, had passed away. He was someone I had known all my life, (I was just 13), and I knew that He would be in Heaven with the Lord Jesus. I knew, that I did not have that assurance, and whilst listening to someone preaching the Gospel that evening, I responded to the Lord, and asked Him to forgive me, cleanse me, and I gave my life to Him right there.

That was 37 years ago now, and I look back over the years, and see the hand that has guided and led me. God has been so faithful to me in every way, with me through the most difficult of times and the most happy ones too.

He is my all in all.
Praise His Name!

I honestly don't remember the exact day or moment I first got saved.

I remember the first time I spoke in tongues and the first time I "shouted in the spirit." but that's not the same thing. I was actually very very young when I first got saved, and alot has happened since. All I really know is I'm saved now and I love the Lord with all of my heart.

You had a beautiful conversion experience and praise God for that. But you are not saved, yet - you have to endure to the end (Matthew 24:13). You sound young - I doubt you're at the end of your earthly life yet. So don't jump the gun; instead imitate Paul the apostle and work out your salvation in fear and trembling (Philipians 2:12). Also don't forget to eat the flesh and drink the blood of our Lord - you won't have life within you without that (John 6:53).

i don't know exactly when it happened but I for once decided to study Christian faith alone, without anyone telling me what to do and what not to.I bought a Bible, an audio Bible on CD's, as well as did research on the net. I know Lord Jesus is with me I never had such an overwhelming peaceful feeling as from that time on,not even when I used to be a brought up Roman Catholic.
I'm no longer a catholic I only believe in God's Word alone and Jesus Christ my Lor,My Savior,My Everything.
GOD BLESS.

I remember it was a saturday and I was eleven years old. I even remember exactly what part of the sidewalk I was standing on, and that the Chrsitian man who led me to Jesus was wearing a gray suit. Praise the Lord for His sending that man to me on that monumental day of my life!!
