There are things about Mohammed that Muslims won't openly admit. They call themselves a "religion of peace" but the Koran betrays this belief, and culturally, they'll defend it to the death.
Muslims are NOT friends to Westerners.

The Muslim religion does obviously exist, whether it's the "True" religion is a matter of who's practising what. The gist of the religion is a great one, Love your neighbors and friends as you would love yourself and give all the help needed and more to those in need. My old room-mate is a strict practising Muslim and
I've read the Koran and listened to him talk about the teachings of
the Koran and the Muslim religion and at NO time did he ever say that taking an innocents life is OK such as what happened on 911
I think that a lot of innocent Muslims were also wrongly targeted after that happended because they had zero to do with all of that. The ones who are/were responsible for that tragedy and any other that may occur are the ones who need to be persecuted not the entire population of the Muslim practicing peoples.

dude there is no point to this question. people will just go off preaching their religion, or insulting islam, or insulting other religions. why do you care what others think about muslims? it will not improve your life to know. if you're a muslim, i suggest you start responding to all these muslim-bashing questions. i am not kidding you, after i responded to a few, people started selecting my answer as the best and saying, you really changed my perception of islam. answering questions is way more effective, believe me, i've tried both asking and answering. anyway, that's my personal opinion. salams.

841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."
844 In their religious behavior, however, men also display the limits and errors that disfigure the image of God in them:
843 The Catholic Church recognizes in other religions that search, among shadows and images, for the God who is unknown yet near since he gives life and breath and all things and wants all men to be saved. Thus, the Church considers all goodness and truth found in these religions as "a preparation for the Gospel and given by him who enlightens all men that they may at length have life."
844 Very often, deceived by the Evil One, men have become vain in their reasonings, and have exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and served the creature rather than the Creator. Or else, living and dying in this world without God, they are exposed to ultimate despair.

"the muslim religion", or 'Islam' as it's commonly known, is really just the same religion as Christianity and Judaism. They all worship the same God, they just disagree on details about two prophets (or a prophet and a messiah, depending on your position).

You bet your *** - it is true religion. Ohh, wait a minute - save your *** from the hell fire - read the Koran. Remember Islam has not denied the validity of the Judism and Christianity as the religions from the same GOD (ALLAH in ARABIC). Visit www.islamalways.com, www.islamtomorrow.com, www.turntoislam.com.

I believe different cultures interpret God and his word in different ways. I believe the Koran, the Bible, and Torah are all true and real.
