My first boyfriend was Mexican, and it was fine. He was a perfectly nice guy...however, he was raised in the US and did not adhere to some of the more traditional Mexican machismo ways. My best friend dated a Mexican who was raised in Mexico who was always trying to do the macho thing (since tradition still dictates in Mexico that women are the weaker sex) and she was rather frustrated that she constantly had to translate was he was saying to the rest of us.

I loved hanging out with the family- TONS of food and tons of people, warm, very fun. However, my experience with latin guys is that they have a tendancy to be possessive at times. They get jealous of other male friends and seem to have insecurities. That's just my personal experience though. It was a lot of fun, but the hardest part was breaking up with the family...

The only mexican guy I saw was a booty call only, he wasn't relationship material. But my experience was awesome, he was so much fun! He was a mexican gangsta and I'm not really into the gangsta lifestyle.

I've only dated two, but they were both very...um....tiny....
