Depression is a monster that pokes his head up at the most inconvenient times. Like a great evil dragon it rises and engulfs. I have dealt with depression from the age of 13 to 48, when I finally gave up and talked to my gynecologist about it. You didn't say if you have manic depression? Where you're really, really high and then suddenly you are at the bottom of a deep, deep well...? or you're fine and even then start going deeper and deeper...? It makes a difference in how you can effectively handle it. I know a lot of people (in my case even my parents) just say "cheer up!" and think that you can. It's frustrating. So talk to a parent or a close trusted ADULT friend, DO NOT tell your best school friend, or your boyfriend..that WILL backfire eventually. School counselors can help, your doctor can help..you need to find out what is causing the depression and go from there. Wish I could reach out and help, but unfortunately they don't allow that. Just, don't try to handle it on your own, ask for help until you get it. Best wishes.

Its okay to feel the way you do, its normal. Your mind is telling you, you've had enough stress and you need to deal with it. If you don't want to talk to a stranger then atleast start by writing everything down that is good, bad and in between. Take that and write out your feelings for some of those things and then bury the ones that have the most hurt and anger. Literally in the ground bury them, give them back to the earth. I know it sounds kooky but it works, I do it a lot and it helps me keep my life in some sort of perspective.

If you find that, that doesn't help you, try to find someone whom you do trust and talk to them or have them read what you write. It is very important you sort through your feelings and do not let them take over your life. Good Luck and I'll say a prayer for you.

you just need to work on whatever that tough area of your life is. maybe come to a solution or if it's not that kind of problem, just find a way to deal with it so that it doesn't affect you the way it did today. it doesn't really sound like you have the sort of depression that requires meds. so, maybe it's okay to cry at school. just run to the bathroom or something. everybody cries.

Boys and girls (expecially girls) are going through hormone changes in school. Maybe you're close and into your period if you are a girl - that's when depression is really bad. If you get depressed for "no reason" but just cry at commercials or anything, you may need medicene. Good luck, Kitty

If you are that depressed you need to be on meds. If you dont get help and soon you could end up doing something very stupid. For your own sake do it!!!!!

dont take everything you hear to heart. people say dumb things all the time , dont be a victim! just learn to ignore people who are not friends.
