I think the word moral is very much a buzz word. Its used like the word ethics to decribe what feels wrong instead of what can arguably be articulated as wrong i.e. abortion is wrong because its unethical and immoral. Its a word used because a person often can't articulate why someonthing is wrong but the very idea of abortion to some people is a sickening taboo and its this feeling that we assocciate with the word immoral or unethical. Its also used with a subliminal spiritual assumtion that everyone we all believe in the same mainstream ideas of God often Christian. Words that you can equate to having the same phycological basis would be natural and normal. I hope this is a good enough answer.

Not really, morals are a civilizations thing, there are certain attributes that society will always demand out of men/women and they will exist with or without a name attacked to them and those that do not follow or conform to the societies morals, will either be outcast or dealt with in a tribal, Judaical or other ways. It is written in history, is is written today, it will be so tomorrow.

Morals is to use ones knowledge for good and apply it in your life (to know right from wronge and choose right over wronge)it helps one to make good judgment calls and helps us not to offend others.in return we are treated with the same respect.as we have earned it. much of this philosophy was written by the teachings of the son of God.
