When you are sure that what you're feeling isn't "lust". Take your time and get to know him well. You may not even want to have sex with him once you get to know him...lol Seriously, don't be in a rush because your judgment can become cloudy if the physical aspect of a relationship is the dominate part too soon.

WAIT WAIT WAIT. I'm not saying forever, but a man, no matter what man, he will always think whatever you did with him you are/were capable of doing with someone else. Also, make him earn it. Your body is precious. Make him know that having sex with you is a privilege and something that the two of you should think about. And thinking takes some time. Besides, masturbating is innocent, it can hold you over for a few!

Let nature take it's course, but make sure you communicate beforehand what your hopes are for how it will enhance a relationship together. If he's not interested in sex for more than gratification then realize what it means and decide yes or no accordingly, based on your own desires.

If there's a chance at a relationship, sex will come within a month of dating. If I am not feeling the girl, no sex within a week and she's gone.

My rule was to wait one month! But we'd have to have gone out at least four times for that month. This way, you get to know him and not let the sex overrule your sound judgement. He could be someone you only thought you knew.

Take your time, Ms. Rikki,...never let 'em have it TOO damn easy. You want him to get to know YOU, not just how good you are in the sack. And hey, if this is gonna get physical, he's gotta be able to like your kid, too,...some guys don't..

If you REALLY like the dude and want to have an actual relationship...3-4th date. I wouldn't stretch out any longer than that...not in this day and age anymore.

I try not to analyze too much. If the chemistry is there, then why ignore it? Sometimes striking while the iron is hot is the best route to take.
