Dads really don't need anything but if your dad likes a good wine after dinner you could pick that up. If he is a fan of a certain actor you can get a few DVDs for him. No ties or socks. Think about who he is and I am sure you will pick something really nice. Good Luck.

Think along the lines of something he would buy himself. Or think of his hobbies/interest and go from there. For instance, my dad likes photography so I sometimes buy him something he could use for that purpose. Also, a gift certificate for a great steakhouse is a sure winner when you can't think of anything for the male genre. You know it will be taken advantage of, unless he's a vegetarian! Good luck!

Wow, dads are hard
(to shop for you pervs)
I never know what to get my dad... although he does like massage type thingies for his feet or back or whatever. Sometimes drug stores like Walgreens have thoughtful little gifts for dads. Something for his car like a beaded seat cover? lol
You could always do a nice picture frame thing, for family photos or somethin, but he might think it wierd with no pictures in it lol.

When my dad's b-day comes around (and it will be on the 22nd), I just ignore him and hope he goes away lol

Yes, sit down and write out a list of why you appreciate him. Read it to him at dinner, no gift can exceed that.
