I don't have a problem eating with a guy, it's just that the guys I meet are cheapskates and all my dates seem to last for hours and If I don't eat before I go, my stomach is growlling and I can hardly wait to get home to eat.

Guys are obviously not treating you that well. Maybe you're not enough of a prize. If your own life is going well and you truly like yourself, you're not going to accept a date with the first shlub who comes along. If they don't buy you dinner they probably think of you as friends or don't take you seriously or don't think of you as a great prize.
It's up to you to elevate your attractiveness and self confidence.

No, its up to you. If you would rather have a date and eat something light in front of the person, that's fine. However, if you don't want to eat before, then you can totally eat what you feel comfortable eating in front of the person. It depends on how the girl feels. I used to eat beforehand and then I became comfortable eating in front of my man and was able to eat whatever I wanted.

Are you referring to the age old "i cant eat in font of him" thing ?
I am totally fine with eating with my date, great time for conversation. If we dont have plans to eat, then yes of course I eat before I go.
