Make driver education more robust, make getting a license skill-based, institute mandatory annual driver training, make annual hands-on driver training mandatory, increase the proficiency level necessary to get a license. Increase penalties for driving impaired or without a license or without insurance, or while distracted. That should about do it.

CUT AND RUN ! The war on the highways is a QUAGMIRE! Do the math, that means every 26 days enough people die driving to equal the total amount of Americans that have died in Iraq over the last few years.
If we're supposed to CUT AND RUN in Iraq because of the number of casualties, we should definitely stop driving.

I often hear our politicians say "If it saves only one life...it was worth it". On that theory I propose we mandate speed limits in the city to 3 mph and on the freeway to 5 mph. Lets save all 119!

I believe on average most people drive the speed limit or 5 MPH over the speed limit. So drop the speed limit by 5 MPH and youd have a better majority of people in the speed range you want them to be in.

stay home so i can have the roads to myself-lol- honestly i think a driving road test at licence renewal would help. we all know some people should be on the road

Get through peoples' thick heads to be safer, more responsible drivers. That's all it takes if everyone would just do their friggin' part!

The world is too overpopulated as it is. We need to stop making things "safer" and stop trying to cure diseases. These things just make the problems worse. We NEED people to die.
