My sister is unable to concieve, and now a friend of hers is pregnant and offering to let my sister adopt the baby. Where can I go to get information on the paperwork needed, while keeping the process as cheap as possible, as my sister and her fiance are pretty low on funds?

Talk to a family lawyer, they can probally set it all up pretty cheap and all it will take is a signature from all adults involved.

Start with a trip to the courthouse. Hire attorneys and maybe involve the Social Services depending on your state.
