if only we'd enforce our laws.. these idiots on YA will call you racist.. I'm with you. If racist means giving a isht about this country and repelling a foreign invasion, label me up and down. Is it racist to look down upon intruders?

Call INS. I looked down through many of the answers before giving mine. Wake up people, Illegal is illegal, no matter what the situation is. Those that told the guy to mind his own business, how would you feel if a pedofile moved in down from you and you had children, if you knew for a fact that the pedofile was stalking children, would you just mind your business? No, you would report them, just as this citizen should report this illegal aline for breaking the law.

this is comical actual. State regulations on the subject of who could make arrests whilst and for what varies, and that i'm uncertain what federal regulation says on it (immigration violations are federal violations, no longer state). i understand in Texas a individual must be committing a criminal. that's #a million. on condition that unlawful presence isn't a criminal, that does no longer be a topic the place a citizen could make an arrest i do no longer think of. And a individual can no longer assume the immigrant entered illegally because of the fact some human beings overstay visas. besides, despite if we assumed anybody entered illegally, a federal criminal, we gained't bypass arresting human beings for felonies that are no longer in progression. Off-accountability law enforcement officials very almost in no way mess with that, so why ought to voters? right here is the different difficulty. there's no requirement for any unlawful alien, or somebody for that remember, to perceive themselves to a distinctive individual in circumstances the place somebody is finding to make a citizen's arrest. in actuality, in lots of cases a police officer can not stroll as much as somebody and insist identity. in addition to, community and state police can not enforce immigration regulations. So how can a private citizen verify somebody is unlawful with the intention to arrest them? ultimately, making citizen's arrests may well be crammed with criminal accountability. If somebody fights the arrest, after which you utilize severe tension, your over. YOU bypass to detention center. some could combat because of the fact they don't understand who you're. If somebody includes me attempting to make a citizen's arrest for no good reason, they could have a severe difficulty. human beings don't understand criminal accountability, and the function it performs, whilst they bypass and attempt to detain somebody. in case you screw it up, basically in user-friendly terms slightly, you will possibly be charged with a criminal.

Again...you're not doing America a favor...Mexicans are Americans...why do you people all think American is just United States? I mean, how ethnocentric can you get?
You cannot make a citizen's arrest on your neighbor...regardless of what he said. You cant call ICE but they won't do anything because they were called in by you...how has no physical proof of their legality...if its he said you said...its hearsay which holds up to pretty much nothing in court. And if ICE does come and arrest, they just violated their civil rights by making an unwarrented arrest with no probably cause...so they won't make the arrest. And because it was you who called, even if ICE arrives at their door, they have no obligation to prove their status of legal residence....so not only is it a lose-lose situation...you can't do anything about it....even if they are legal...

Kind of why we can't get rid of them once they enter...so even though they are in violation of the Law by being here illegally, unless they do something illegal AGAIN...can't check them out...can't ask for papers...can't do anything....tough luck...

It's ignorant to compare a pedofile to an illegal alien. Are you all that threatened by illegal aliens? If you are well educated, then they won't steal your job anyway, right? And if you are upset about the money spent on support illegal aliens, then you should be upset about the billions upon billions of dollars spent on the war or space programs, which are both so far away from home.

If illegal is illegal, then should I call the cops whenever I see someone smoking pot at a concert, or smell pot on kids at the mall? If my neighbor hires an illegal alien to clean their house, babysit, or mow their lawn, do I turn them in to the police? If I see someone speeding, do I call 911 and have to cops pull them over These are all illegal activities, since we do have laws against them right?

Or do we just focus on the illegals because it is so easy to blame our problems on them?

Report him to the local police or to the immigration service.
Making a citizen's arrest is foolish. Don't do it. You don't know this person and what he may be capable of doing.

Let immigration sort it out.

YES! Get their asses deported! There are so many people from other countries who legally go through the process and time of citizenship. These are people who do not respect that; they are not bad people but they are illegal.
