Now scientists can create ‘fake’ sperm from stem cells.

One woman could donate their DNA and fertilise the other. In theory at least.

Great news for lesbians. Bad news for men. ;0)

What is your view on this?

Perhaps evolution knew what it was doing when it gave the male sex nipples and a rudimentary womb. Could be humans are evolving to a single gender.

it makes me very, very sad.i believe a child should have a mother and a father.a woman isn't supposed to do,what only a man was created to do.
i believe that's stealing away from god's natural plan.i'm not judging the gay/lesbian community.i'm not condemning any of them, for their lifestyle.it's just that,a man was created to father a child.it's the father, who gives the mother a baby.when they come together, and in love, they conceive a child together.a woman is not biologically able to do this.a woman was made to receive from the man.a woman can't give another woman a baby.
also, the father has a different duty as a parent.seperate from the mother's duty.the father carries out certain duties,as does the mother.
it's good if gay/lesbian couples want to provide a good home for a child.but in my line of reasoning,a family just isn't a family, without a father.every child needs to have a father.i believe that the father,is the very foundation of where a child's life begins.if a child doesn't have a father,or a good relationship with their father,it's going to affect the child's life later on.

I think if two people want to take on the responsibility of raising a child to be a good person then it's not up to me to judge them. I'd rather see a well adjusted child in a happy home then a kid who grows up among a turbulent family, no matter the genders involved.

I don't know why people would think the kid would turn out confused. Most gay people I know came from hetro parents. I think a kid growing up with loving parents who kept communications open would turn out just fine and mentally healthy.

somethings come with side effects and consequences. We can have choices and live our lives but there are results from this hence two women cannot produce children. ER.....it cannot be done naturally so they need to get on with their lives and leave it alone.
If your black you cant change your colour or stop people being discriminatory so if your gay you cant have kids.
There is man and woman to create a child for a reason. Look at the state of black boys brought up by single mothers........Do i have to say more. Some ethnic groups are in crisis with the family and it is damaging them and then some brainless morons think bcs they have money or democracy they can just do anything
I say accept your lot as Gay, thats life there is nothing wrong with being gay but you CANT have your cake and eat it too, otherwise it turns out a selfish experiment on how the child grows up and how it affects them socially psycologically etc

As a man I don't like the idea, because I am not sure how the kids w'd feel while they go to main stream schools,,, but I am sure the lslamic Sharia a law would love the idea,, because islam is the only religion reminded from the cave man and they do respect the women's right pretty much so ;-)

Well what's happened to good old romance, and shouldn't the effort be spent and treating cancer? Good luck to all lesbians, but it's a shame old mother nature is being pushed out on the birth of our children for the future. A kind of cheating. I am very gay friendly and would be glad to give away what comes natural. We could do with saving what we have first. Email me if you wish to debate the subject

I think a child needs to grow up with a loving mother and a loving father. I know there is an argument that two women loving a child is better than an unhappy "normal" family. I just think the world has become a very sad state of affairs with this sort of thing even being argued. I see a very confused child coming out of this set-up!

God created the family unit as He did for a reason.

The bible tells us that it takes A village to raise a child. If your life style is an abomination Than hear the Word of God.I will visit the iniquity on to the third and Fourth genaration of those who do not love me.The Child does not deserve that kind of curse. Repent onto your Lord and Savior and he will forgive you of your sin and homosexually is a sin God will bless his children with children when you do God's way. I pray that the Holy Spirit will invade your heart and incline to return to your father in heaven than let him bless you with your destiny. In the Mighty name of JESUS I pray for your deliverance. AMEN

It's called evolution, women will rule the world. Men are still stuck at the cave man stage but women are constantly evolving and this is the next step. It is a natural progression.

I think it totally depends on what religion you are talking about. I do know the Catholic faith frowns upon that, but not sure of others. I personally think that if you love each other, can provide a stable, loving home and are financially secure..then go for it. Am I gay, no...But I do not have the right to judge anyone.
