I believe in a Supreme Being who has sovereign control over all there is, was and will be. I also try very hard to live a life that reflects my understanding of His expectations.

I have been living like this for over ten years and am yet to meet anyone who shares a similar position.

OK, so I have met many who say they do but their life does not reflect this.

I refuse to believe I am the only one who thinks like this. Where can I meet like minded people?

In Agape

I don't think people will understand this question. It is unclear.

Is your question, that you are looking for people who believe in a supreme bring?

Not Jesus?

You can find many of these people in Israel, many still worship idols, such as, the stone cow, they cast lotts, runes as some call it. Many give offerings to whom they think is God.
Some have never heard the new testiment of Jesus, so they still live in the past of the old testiment.

If you are looking for spritual people, whom beleive in the (Higher Power). Their are many of them all over this planet, some even may cast a spell upon you, becareful who you associate with, as some are mean.

It's better and even safer to believe in a Supreme Being than in organized religions, because these weren't organized by the Supreme Being but by humans led by their fanaticism and other things.

Not sure I'm down with the "sovereign control" part, but I have a firm belief in a supreme being who created the universe we know (and likely others we don't), but he/she/it does not conform to any set of proscriptions that a bunch of humans have put in place to control my earthly behavior.

Spirituality is divine...religion is coercion.

Let me ask you this. If you believe in this supremem being and you know what he wants....how do you know this? What do you understand about his expectations?

So, you don't really know. It is only your perception that does this. So, God tells you to live a life you think he wants?

What you need to realize is that God created you. This indicates that you have created God.

I'm not being mean but Gode is whatever you make him!

That is real easy to obey him, I guess!

You are fooling yourself.

You can't find people of like mind because spiritually they move on to a deeper understanding. You haven't.

God bless you (my god, that is..not yours)

It is common for people to say that they are 'spiritual, but not religious', it sounds like that applies to you. There is actually a long history of this philosophy (including the founding fathers of the USA).

I consider myself in this domain as well. I find religion too open to interpretation and too prone to contradiction to be a beleiver.

αγάπη, eh?

You are not the only Ken.
Love, agape as you seem to define it, for an Intelligent Principle is something common to many in this planet and sure it is in others (it'd be interesting to learn how they define this Being, don't you think?).

Let's keep learning and let's not forget that we cannot our dimensional nature. If we just focus on the divine, frustration is likely to be lifelong company.

You are not the only one who feels this way, I'm with you on this one. However, due to the fact that our definition of faith is hard to accurately label there are no organized groups for us to share these ideas.

I thought that it was hard to find people like that too..
But you have to look in the right places, like church, and maybe religion specific chat sites.

You are asking for people that do not believe in organized religion....to be organized. So what you are experiencing is normal.
