Definitely Toney....Eubank spent most of his career fighting in Europe and didn't do well when he moved up in class at the end of his career losing to Joe Calzaghe and Carl Thompson twice. I have a hard time giving too many props to guys who fight their entire career in Europe and don't face the top notch opposition in the US and elsewhere--Darius Michelewski is a good example of this. At this point I don't see how Toney could make weight, so in a "real world" setting that could be an issue but as long we keep it in the realm of the hypothetical "Lights Out" has too many skills and too much experience against top opponents at all weight classes.

And to one of the previous posters who said there's "no real American champs" that's dead wrong--that Floyd Mayweather guy, for one, is American and I hear he's pretty good ; ) You could make a pretty convincing case that the top three boxers in the world "pound for pound" are American--Mayweather, Winky Wright, Jermain Taylor come immediately to mind. I'm not a pro US honk, and the fact that all four heavyweight belts are held by eastern Europeans concerns me very little (particularly since Maskaev has lived in trained in the US for years, and Wlad Klitchiko spends a good deal of his time here) but the assertion that "Americans don't care" just ain't so. That's the kneejerk take of the mainstream sports media who doesn't really pay attention to boxing anyway unless Mike Tyson is committing a crime somewhere.

Good fight but I believe that Toney has more punching power and a little more clever than the tough Eubank. I believe Toney would catch him with a good right hand in the 10th round ending this contest.
