I don't wear mascara maybe every once in a while, but when I do I put it on with my mouth closed. Some women just have a reaction of doing that when they do put on mascara.

I feel like someone already answered this question on Answers. Oh well, i put on mascara w/ my mouth closed but you are right many women do open their mouths when putting mascara on.

I have no problem putting mascara on with my mouth closed. I have watched some of my friends though and they look might dumb with their mouth open. I don't know why some women do that...... weird....

Some of the nerves that open the eyelids are connected to the mouth. So when you widen them to apply mascara your mouth widens too.

When I put on mascara, I'm concentrating really hard. I'm not thinking about my mouth hard enough to keep it shut.

i can do it..its not that hard closing your mouth when putting mascara on!!

becfuase opening the mouth pulls the skin down under they eye, making it easier to get the lashes.
i dont mind, i enjoy looking at a women open her mouth ;)

Good question dude. I don't know... maybe it helps them concentrate like when Michael Jordan would stick out his tongue before a slam dunk.
