The lack of evidence for god's existance is evidence that he does not exist (just like vishnu, etc.). But not only do I have proof and reasoning: http://godisimaginary.com/
but I also have faith that he doesn't exist.

So doesn't the fact that I have evidence and faith, trump people who have just faith? How is your christian faith more accurate than faith and proof?

Everyone is just going to act dumb and call science a religion, which is dumb. Sorry it's so hard to get a good answer.

there is no proof, even if state on the website you provided. The belief in God is that of faith, and to understand faith you first must look at the definition of Faith: synonym see BELIEF

Belief : a state or habit of mind in which trust or confidence is placed in some person or thing

Notice, "State or habit of mind", no two minds think exactly the same, so no two beliefs are exactly 100% the same.

Now, claiming that your personal belief of claimed evidence and faith trump people who have just faith, well that's personal "Belief" is not really saying your belief is that much more creditable that that of anothers.

Religion is a Faith based system, which by definition does not have to prove anything. People believe becasue they choose to believe according to what they think is right for them. Now is that saying that everyone should believe just because I or you happen to believe a certain way? Not at all

As far as the link you posted, all of that calimed "Evidence" does not prove either way if there is a God or not, it's all opinion.

In fact religion, if trying to prove the existence of God, would fall short as it is not a subject to which any physical experimentation can be subjected. It deals with Spiritual matter, which us living in a world of Physical matter, can only conclude a theory.

You think if Science could prove either way if God does or does not exist it would have. But the best Science and religion can do is Theory, which is basically only an opinion, which in turn is only a personal belief.

So, no. Your fact does not prove anything.

Hmm... one of the more interesting of the questions i have seen today, the ideal of the site is great, questioning what is bread into you, I like that, but there is no way (that any science, philosophy at this time) can disprove god, and if you cannot disprove something it is possible to exist, for example, gravity, we "believe" it exists, because it has not been disproved, you cannot ever prove something by 100% you can only disprove, so no matter what someone says there is always the small possibility that it exists, or it is disproved but there is never any certainty.

Another thing to take into account is the fact of a belief system is very complex and cannot be unwoven because of one persons point of view, and that all the sight really shows, a point of view. but I admire the people that question things you are not supposed, simply because it shows a sense of unknown that we all crave if we were to get out of the routine life.

I agree with you!

But here's something: I believe in Santa Clause. Really, I do!
1. I've actually seen him on many occasions
2. I've not only talked to him but he responded in an audible voice
3. There are many books and movies about him and his life.
4. When I send mail to him through the U.S. postal service it is acutally delivered to him and I've even received a written response.
5. When I was a kid, every December 25th I found gifts under the tree and the tags read, "To: Susan From: Santa"
6. He is multicultural and millions of people beleive he exists (and who am I to argue against millions of people?)
7. I'm pretty sure I heard reindeer on my roof.
8. When I leave cookies and milk for him, they are gone in the morning.

Hense, there are more reasons to believe in Santa than in god.
And since Santa ALWAYS gives me what I ask for (and god never has) I think I will start worshipping Santa.

:-)

There might be lack of evidence for the existence of Higgs Particle or Gravitational waves--but no scientist take them absolutely as evidence for their non-existence--infact they BELIEVE sincerely that
that lack of evidence is their inaptness--not any absolute proof of existence or non-existence. Infact the few evidence that they have--are rock solid--solid enough to investigate for further evidence.
What you have is blind faith just as some theists have. Your logic and sense of reasoning are defected. First--learn how to think properly and logically. Then try to investigate last part of your question and you will get the answer. So, I give you 4 step suggestions---(1) Try to investigate---Does God exists?
(2)If He exists--why He is the God of Abraham?
(3) Why only Jesus is the way?
(4) Why all other religions false?

I respect the fact that you don't believe in God, but the evidence that you're showing is childish, anyway, it'll take a lot of time to reject all the proofs you present, I just read proof #1, it's about asking God to end with cancer on every person tonight, the explanation is easy, God is helping us to find the cure of cancer, if you know about that disease, there was a time when cancer was incurable, but with the help of God and scientific works and researching methods will end up with that disease, some day we will be able to cure cancer from one day to another, God hears our prays, the hard things he solves them right away, for impossible things he takes a little more time.
I took a look of another proof (the #41), it says that God is imaginary and if we flip up a coin asking Him to make it always land in heads instead of tails, (isn't it a childish proof?), the coin doesn't lands heads everytime even if we pray because the order of the world created by God can't be manipulated for conveniences, if you have a something to ask God and is full of virtue God might ignore that order of the world and do you the favor, those cases are called miracles, and yes miracles exists, and there are a lot of testimonies around them. If you don't want to believe in God is you're decision, our decision is to have faith on Him and everybody happy, take care, God bless you!!!

I'm sorry that you have not experienced God in your life. I hope that someday, you will allow for him to be present and bless you. As for evidence; I will not say this is the only evidence, however, I am a walking-breathing testimony of his existance. I do not claim to be all-knowing over the matter, acctually there is much I don't know. I feel that the site suggested you 'test' it for yourself, however, going into something that must be felt or experienced with determination to disproof it is rather useless. Come to the Lord asking him to become evident to you,...it must be done sincerely and without intension to refuse him. This is how I came to know my friend, my Lord, my Savior. You're in my prayers.

I'm not a Bible thumper myself but I do believe in God and Jesus. I also try to respect another person's religion. So I was just wondering...why is it so important for you to "disprove" God? If it brings comfort to someone thinking that there will be life after death, what's the harm? Not to mention the social aspect. If there was nothing to believe in I think despair and loneliness would drive half the population insane. So go in peace my child :) and don't worry so much about what someone else believes. We are ok.

Interesting question?

The truth is, faith is what it is.

You can't prove faith. If you could prove faith, than you would no longer have just faith, but facts.

Trust is faith that has been supported by experience and revelation.

I believe, and have faith in God. But my faith has moved into the realm of trust, because of my experiences.

I have seen God heal many people. I have seen many miracles.

These are my experiences, and now I have even more faith and expectation because of what God has done.

So in short, Faith brings trust and trust builds more faith!!!

Ok I read your STUFF.. It's isn't proof at all in fact most of it is a down and out lie. Proof would be artificial reproduction of a world made from unorganized lifeless materials. This new world would have to have plant life, and animal life all made by man... Got that up your sleeve? Jim
