That is a pretty old manual focus camera that is not compatible with the newer auto focus EOS and digital cameras from Canon. That alone is going to limit its current value, but a lot depends on the condition the equipment is in, if the lenses are Canon or third-party, and where you are located (US?).

You can search closed auctions at ebay for similar equipment, or check http://www.keh.com. Keh tends to give good "reference" values for used equipment that is in line with what most people are willing to pay. Click on the camera store tab, then Canon Manual Focus. They currently offer Excellent grade A1 bodies from $172-$265 US, and 80-200 f4 lenses from $100-$500 depending on the exact model and condition.

Hope that helps. Nice camera, BTW.

It won't be worth very much, I'm afraid. The A1 used the Canon FD mount and all modern Canons (including their digital line-up) use the EF mount.
Check eBay for similar items.

Maybe $200, if the lenses and extras are Canons and all are in excellent condition. Film is obsolete.

You gotta ebay it bro and do a price comparison.....keep in mind 'tis the season........almost so it may make a few more bucks then you think to someone who wants it as a x-mas gift.
