If a pregnant woman is in the hospital ready for labor... Complications?

If she have the baby she will die, only option two save her or the baby, she can't make decision, so you the husband or Mother, Father ( Just for teens ) and have the right to make the decision. What do you choose and WHY?

My fiance and I have discussed this. We already have 2 children together. Both agreed that my life would be more important. Why would it be fair to the 2 children I already have to grow up without their mother?

When I was in the Hospital and I was told I needed to have an Emergency C-section, I told my husband if it was a choice between me and the baby Pick the baby, Because I Don't think I would be able to live if I knew I couldn't have Another baby and my baby died to save me. Know with that said. IF I was in the Position AGAIN with a SECOND baby I would pick me, because my son needs me. If it was my Daughter I would Choice to save my own Daughter.

not a choice, doctors will ALWAYS save the mother first.. she can go on to have more children if she is alive...

of course they will always try to save both, i'm sure its never really that cut and dry.

Tough one, I´d check the chance of survival in both scenarios for both persons, exactly.

I don't have kids but I'm married and I think my husband would do everything to save both...but I would hope he would save our child.
