Those of you familiar with TBN-the home of multimillionaire televangelist, has a guy named Kim Clement..who claims to be a "prophet" from God.

Would you believe a "prophet" that told you some of these things..
No Americans would die in Iraq. Made in 2003
Most Muslims would convert to christianity. Made in 2002
There would be a cure for Aids by 2002. Made in 2000
He also claimed to predict Bush as winning the President! He didn't add this "prophecy" about the election, on his website, until NOVEMBER 3, 2004-A DAY AFTER THE ELECTION.

Here's a nice link for you. One of MANY off the internet.

Prophets of God are never wrong. This guy is a joke. Shame.
Does anyone out there believe this guy?

He may be wrong about his prophecies but it is up to God to deal with him, not us. You said in a past posting you are a Christian. We are to pray for him, not make a public display of him.

All of those who claim to be prophet in the present or the past have been self dubbed. So tommorow I may proclaim myself as a prophet. After which I will proclaim a profit.

The only time I would believe a 'prophet of God' is if they lived according to 'the law and the prophets'. Other wise they are just another Satanist trying to get my attention.

They all make predictions like those. And I have yet to see one actually happen.

I'm sure there are plenty of people out there that believe him. Especially if he has a spot on TBN. They don't keep people that don't pull in the money for them.

Definitely a false-prophet. We have seen the same thing in Jehovah's Witnesses, as well.

Why does any Christian need any more prophesy, anyway? I thought that Jesus came to fulfill all the prophesies. Seems like fortune-telling or more than that, guesswork, to me.

I wouldl not give him a dime!

I would agree that we are not to make a public spectacle of anyone, BUT, the Lord commanded us to beware and to help teach others. The 2 Scriptures below tell us to reprove, rebuke, etc. You cannot reprove and rebuke by simply letting the Lord do everything especially things He commands us to do for ourselves. Futhermore, if we do not let others know of these false teachers/preachers, the innocent persons blood that they lead to hell will be upon our hands.

2 Timothy 4:2-5
"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry."

Ezekiel 33:6
But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

God Bless you all.

You can add him to the other false-prophets that claim to know God.
