Very interesting fight sir! Valdez had some trememndous fights with middleweight great Carlos Monzon and Bennie Briscoe among others and had good boxing ability and a good punch. Olson was also an outstanding fighter beating many contenders along the way but although he gave the legendary Sugar Ray Robinson one good fight he was knocked out the other times. I believe this would be an even fight for about 10 rounds with Valdez coming on strong at the end to capture the decision.

Bob Olson was middleweight king after Robinson retired from boxing in 1952, winning an elimination series over Randy Turpin,Olson won 99 fights out of 117. Valdez won close to 63 fights. I'd have to give this on to Olson by a close 15 round split decision
