The problem with google is that you do not get the human touch you get here. With responses from sane and crazy, young and old, the answers are more exciting here on Yahoo Answers. If I just want a fact I google. If I want to hear an attitude I come here.

You get a lot of stupid mindless answers from people who are so bored and just want to get 2 points per answer. Then you get some longwinded yet thoughtful ones. In the meantime you have to wait for these answers to come, which they do fast and furious, into your mailbox (if you so selected).

In the end, most things you can google fine yourself, but I think qualititative answers requiring an opinion, here would be the better place to ask.

Some answers are easily found in Google but some questions are very specific in detail and people want to see experiences.

"What is Eric Clapton's first album's name?" >> Google.
"What is the best song of Eric Clapton to play on my wife's birthday party? (She loves romantic songs)" >> Yahoo answers; and an Eric Clapton fan will tell him the most romantic song that would be played in a birthday party.

So there is a difference.

Yeah, and half the people who answer googled to get the answer. I ask more opinion/real life experience questions myself... the kind that I couldn't really answer by googling.

It depends upon the question. However, if you are a good researcher and know your way around the internet, then you could possibly get the answer faster yourself.
