My daughter is being put on an exclusion diet to check for reactions to different foods.
For two weeks she can not eat the following:
Pork
Cantaloupe
Cashews
Cottonseed
Rye
Tuna
Salmon
Black Pepper
Sesame Seeds
Soybeans
Peanuts
Lettuce
White Potatoes
I'm having a hard time coming up with foods for her to eat for lunch (at school) and dinner since cottonseed, soy, peanuts and wheat seem to be in everything. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the help.

Just wanted to clear up that she was actually tested for allergies. She showed a reaction of 3mm or higher to the foods on her exclusion diet. She was also allergic to many other foods but they were 2mm reactions or less so he didn't add those to the list. I believe tomatoes was on the lesser reaction list. She wasn't tested for green peppers but it might make since that she had a stomach ache when I made stuffed peppers.
Poor thing was poked 96 times with needles that day.

So you are really looking for some beef and chicken stir fries with rice as the starch? For lunch hmm? You could try some turkey lunch meat rolled around cream cheese. Sushi served without the soy sauce. Chicken and rice soup in a thermos. They do make "rice" breads for wheat intolerant people they are often available in the organic aisle. I would really recommend going to a store that specializes in organic foods, WholeFoods or Trader Joe's have a variety of food stuffs that are missing common allergy inducing ingredients. Your local Kosher deli or Kosher department at the grocery store will also have foods with no pork and very few "additives". What about a wrap made out of a corn tortilla chicken, cream cheese and tomatoes? A lot of health food markets also have diets printed out to help people with allergies. I would go to all of these places and see what advice and products they have to offer.

I have never heard of anyone having a food allergy to pork or lettuce! If she is excluding white potatoes, is she also excluding tomatoes, eggplant and peppers? (all are members of the same family-deadly nightshade.) Also white potatoes and red potatoes are chemically the same. Sounds like you have a naturapath or some other quack treating your daughter. I find it hard to believe an MD would have made this list.

An MD would have checked this list first:
Milk
Egg
Peanut
Tree nut
Fish
Shellfish
Soy
Wheat

Go to a whole food store and explain the problem. Someone there will be knowledgable to help you.

you're right to difficulty approximately how he will do on Z/D interior the long term. Cats choose distinctive animal protein and little (if any) carbohydrates. ingredients made with the help of Hills (which includes Z/D) tend to no longer have adequate animal protein and too many carbs. Cats do no longer choose carbs for power (they place self assurance in protein for that as they're obligate carnivores), yet there are extra suitable than 30% carbs in lots of Hills prescription nutrition plan formula. do no longer feed dry nutrition, as maximum have too many carbs in any case, and could bring about diabetes, weight problems, UTIs, and kidney issues later on your cats' existence. There are constrained element, grainless, and hypoallergenic cat ingredients available over-the-counter, thankfully on your Siamese. manufacturers that carry such ingredients are organic stability, California Naturals, Nature's variety, and EVO. you may observe that Nature's variety promises finished uncooked diets alongside widespread puppy ingredients. in case you get those, understand that this is meant for the two canines and cats, and it is going to no longer be heated up. Cooking it is going to break the food interior the pre-made uncooked. Cats have a extra acidic abdomen, and so can manage uncooked meat extra effective that human beings. in any different case, feed any ingredients from the above manufacturers like all different cat nutrition. If none of those are on your section, bypass directly to puppy nutrition Direct (the hyperlink to the internet internet site is below) and order puppy nutrition on line. this is not that no longer user-friendly.
