The journey is vast and long and covers many different types of terrain. As I have moved West and encountered the desert, so too my spiritual life has entered a desert. One has to learn desert ways to survive, when the spiritual blessings cease to come and all within begins to wither. Some have called this "The Dark Night of the Soul." Somewhere in the distance, there is a faint light on the horizon. And soon again, the soothing rains of Spring. As long as I make the effort, even when it appears I am making no progress, I will reach the oasis and all I have lost shall be restored.

It's in between. I'm striving for staying on the right side of the fence, but I want something else to complete me. But I'm not wanted, so I have to go on alone and do the best I can to withstand the test of strength & courage to be strong and keep asking for what I want more than life itself, or just give in to a world of drugged out uncaring. It's coming to a head soon either way and I'll be glad when it does......peace & love.....~p~

I think part of the Christian experience is to go through desert times where it seems like the Lord is not working in our lives and the holy spirit is far away, just keep walking, times of refreshing come. I've been a Christian for 18 years and have experienced many dry times, but in the Lords time, another season of refreshing comes.

Every now and again i find myself trapped in a world which is linear and i only see the small scope of things, but somehow i always find path back to understaning what it is to be infinite. I guess i just love the mystical more than things that's black on white.

There is always ways to improve upon one's self. When we repent of our sins, we are to take a good look at the sin we commited and work to change that part of ourselves that commited that sin. Pray to the Lord to strengthen our walk with Him. Pray to Him every day. Praise the Lord every day.
