Peace CORPS. If you can't spell it right, you probably won't get in. They only take one out of every 10 applicants.

Yes; you can leave at any time. One person in my group didn't get off the plane that took us to our country. Six out of the original 36 in my group went back during training. One left after a school year. The rest stayed for the whole two years.

The only restriction is that you can't dilly-dally on your way home; you must go back in 3 days or less.

Yes. It's not like a military obligation. But I'd hope that you research & understand the Peace Corps experience that you would not make such a whimsical commitment.

I say, If you can't commit 100% to the cause..then don't go. It's a waste of your time and theirs. There time is very important.
