the other driver has liability insurance only will their liability insurance pay for your vehicle being fixed?

No. You would pay for all the repair costs for your car because its your fault.

If you have liability only and you are at fault, the only thing your insurance company will do is pay for the other person's damages. You would have to have collision coverage on your vehicle in order for them to pay for your damage. The other person's carrier wouldn't pay under his/her liability coverage since that person is not at fault for your damages.

No, because it is your fault. Their insurance will not pay for any of your expenses. Youre liability insurance will pay for their car repairs and their medical expenses up to the limits on your policy. You have to pay for your vehicle repairs yourself.

Liability coverage only covers property damage to the OTHER vehicle, house, power pole, hay wagon, etc. Collision covers YOUR car. It's a roll of the dice when you don't have it.
