i visit alot of sword websites and read it often. i did not know where else to put this question.

The sword does not have a sharp edge (e.g. like a carving knife) but has an edge finished off square. This prevents the blade becoming notched too easily, when coming into contact with other sword edges.

lmao wrong thing um A false edge is a small edge on the dull side of a sword to make it stronger, Mostly used for Katana's the only reason i really care for false edges other then that straight swords
