There is no such thing as a "most" anything or "best" anything when you are talking martial arts styles. It's the person, not the style. If you put in the time and effort you will get something out of it. If you aren't mature enough to know that martial arts aren't for being "deadliest", then you need to quit watching movies and playing video games and spend some time in the real world where we need more compassion and helping each other and less "deadliest". Martial arts is for personal growth, self defense and self discipline, not for kicking someone's ***.

a fighting style is as deadly as a dedicated practitioner would want it to be. but then again, martial arts shouldn't be about killing another person. a true master martial artist would engage an opponent without anger and neutralize him with the least of effort and damage. that should answer your question on 'deadliest'. most effective fighting style, however, is an entirely different issue. when the ufc (ultimate fighting championship) started in the early '90s, it was a battle of styles and everyone who joined was a purist trying to show the world that their fighting style would prevail against all others. over the years, competitors learned that there isn't a single style effective on its own inside the cage. hence, mixed martial arts evolved. generally, a mixed martial artist must have a good stand-up technique (many people believe that muay thai's power and practicality is the best) and an equally good ground fighting technique (which undoubtedly is brazilian jiu-jitsu) to win half of the match. the other half? superior cardio and conditioning.

If you remember one thing remember this....Fighting comes in two flavors, Standing and on the Ground. I'll put my money on any ground fighter over a striker any day....Pretty easy to fall when you are fighting. Ideally a combination of both is best. Muay Thai is mainly standing and striking....A ground fighter with good defensive skills that can get inside would take down and snap a Muay Thai fighters neck in a minute. A ground fighter with poor standing defensive skills would have his teeth kneed out before he knew what happened. You want the best??? Mix it up, no one style is the ultimate.

There are many styles of Martial Arts. My Top 5 Favorites are:
1. Ninjutsu
2. Hwa Rang Do
3. Shuai Chiao
4. Sambo
5. Vovinam-Viet Vo Dao
I would suggest doing some research on these styles and seeing which one you like best.

Muay Thai is a very vicious type of kickboxing but not the most deadly, they train to be pretty devastating with their knees, shins, elbows, and fists, whereas the sport of kickboxing is more limited to the fists and feet.
Dim-Mak has very deadly applications to its techniques, but so can any Martial Art you may study. Killing someone is ONLY a last resort (a VERY, VERY last resort) and should not be taken lightly.
the nationality will be marked with the letter of the country of origin C, China, J Japan, K Korea, B Brazil. the other Martial Arts are Hapkido(K), Tang Soo Do(K), Capoeira(B), Wu Shu(C), Wing Chun(C), Gracie jujitsu(B), Aikido(J) Ninjitsu (J,C). there are many more to speak of but too many to list here.
While other Modern Combat Arts such as Krav Maga are from Israel, and Russian Systema from Russia of course. that are used by the military in their respective country's but are finding their way here to the States in more recent years

I have two words... Krav Maga!
This is the #1 deadliest fighting style in the world. Developed is war torn Israel where fights to the death are normal. The civilian Krav Maga teaches you how to basically kill a man with his own hands, and use him as a shield for beating up his buddy. Whereas the military version of Krav Maga teaches soldiers to "kill a room full of terrorists with a M16, and no bullets".
And the Badass of the Year Award goes to!...
