Since none of those helped, I'd investigate the possibility of a yeast rash.
Cut out all sugar out of his diet, yeast feeds on sugar. This includes fruit juices. Refined, starchy foods will also feed yeast. (like white bread, pasta, white flour tortillas)
Try to get some plain yogurt, with live and active cultures. This can help soothe the sore skin, as well as providing good bacteria that fight the overgrowth of yeast.
You may need a special yeast medication to get rid of it. I would see the doctor and find out which yeast treatment he recommends for your child.

Sounds like it is a yeast rash. Yeast rashes usually consist of bright red, small bumps really close together. Call the doc & make an appt. they will want to look at it to make sure thats what it is. If it is they will prescribe nystatin cream or ointment & you will notice an improvement pretty quickly. I know it can be pretty painful for the baby so make an appt as soon as possible. All of my children have had this, it just happens so don't think it is anything that you did wrong. But you do need to go to the doc & get a prescription, there isn't any regular diaper rash creams or ointments that will get rid of a yeast rash.

yeast infection would have a bad odor from her vagina and some cottage cheese type substance when you pull her labias apart.
BUT i got this from the babycenter website:
yeast infection is to blame for your baby's rash, you'll notice tiny red spots that multiply and mass into a raised, patchy bright or dark red rash with distinct borders. The affected area is red and may be tender or painful, and the rash can creep into the creases of skin around your baby's genitals and legs. It almost never appears on the buttocks alone, but it's possible for it to spread there.
You are using diaper rash cream that has zinc oxide, right? That's the best.
Something else, let her air out for as long as you can let her. This will let the rash dry out a bit.
Look on the internet for natural remedies and only use corn starch not regular baby powder.
Either way, go to the www.babycenter.com site

If it is a diaper rash, my pediatrician told us to mix medicated powder with diaper rash cream into a smooth past. This will help it stick better. Smear it on in a thick layer. Also baths help because the baby is soaking it's bottom. If you want to try that for maybe a week to see if it goes away, do it. Otherwise, you might want to go to the doctor if it's already been some time. I don't know if it's a yeast infection as I don't think my son had that. Good luck!

My daughter had a bad rash after we got back from our 12 hour drive for vacation, we did indeed stop and change her, probably not nearly as much as we would have if we were at home but she ended up with a horrible rash, that i could not get to go away. I ended calling the doctor and she suggested trying butt paste it is a cream for a babies bottom that has a rash. Believe it or not, there were major changes the next day and by the second day of using it, it was gone! I hope this helps your baby, i highly recommended it to everyone!

If it is a yeast infection the doctor will give you a perscription for something like nystatin. I had yeast infection from breastfeeding and the doctor prescribed me athletes foot cream. So you might want to try putting a little bit of that on to see if it helps. The doctor also told me that the antifungal cream would not hurt the baby if he ate it so I don't see how it could hurt your babys bottom. I Hope the rash goes away, good luck.

A baby yeast infection is Candadiasis dermatitis, look it up to see some pictures. It is a beefy red with distant or "satellite" lesions. The actual lesion isn't confined to the one area, but goes beyond the borders.
Don't continue trying everything. If it is a yeast infection or another type of infection, trying all these different remedies may make it worse or lead to cellulitis. (a skin infection).
"Impetigo" is usually a honey/golden crusted lesion. An antibiotic will need to be prescribed.
The best thing would be to take her to see the doctor.

My youngest son once had a yeast infection on his bottom and the doctor told me to rub Monistat cream on it for a couple of days. It was a bright red rash with small red bumps. I could tell a difference in 24 hours. If it doesn't seem to help then I would definitely take him in to see the doctor. Good luck!

I don't know if it is a yeast infection or not I have not dealt with that but for bad rashes I always just let mine run around without his diaper for about 30 minutes severeal times a day and it always goes away.
