not sure of measurements... heat butter in a pot brown white rice and then throw in some minced garlic when well browned add water to rice and 1 to 2 chicken bullion cubes (MAKE SURE CUBES DISSOLVE), cover, boil and steam like normal, mean while finely chop fresh carrots and green onions, when rice is done add in carrots and green onions and mix in let sit for about 5 min and serve. tastes sooooo good!

Fine dice carrots, celery and onion. Sautee with some garlic and then pour in your rice, salt, pepper and chicken soup base and mix. Then pour in your water, bring to a boil.....cover and simmer until water is absorbed. Leave covered and off the burner for about 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.

Here is one of mine that I really like making.... It's a one dish recipe which makes it easy.....
Ingredients:
Two boneless Pork Chops (1 1/2 to 2 Inches Thick)
1 cup of uncooked long grain rice
One stalk of celery (sliced across grain)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 chopped red bell pepper
1 can (14 Onces) chicken stock (Use sodium free)
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Brown the pork chops in a skillet....salt and pepper to taste.
Place 1 cup of chicken broth, 3/4 of the soup, onions, celery and bell pepper in an oven safe baking dish such as Corningware and mix well.
Stir in rice.
Place browned pork chops on rice mixture but try not to submerge them.
You may try adding slices of bell peper on top of the chops and then cover pork chops with remaining soup...may want to add several tablespoons of water to the soup to thin it for spreading on the pork chops.
Cover dish and bake in oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
Remove cover and continue to bake for another 10 minutes or until moisture is completely absorbed. If after 10 minutes the moisture isn't completely gone check rice with fork to see if it fluffs up to indicate whether it is done. If it isn't done extend cooking time. If it is done remove from oven and re-cover and let stand for an additional time to allow rice to absorb the remaining moisture.
At any rate I never have any issues with the moisture and I'm sure you can control it. Hope you like it. You can do variations with this dish..... use tomatoes and Italian seasoning for Pork Chops Italiano or Jalepenos, corn and chili seasoning with Cream of Celery soup for Mexicali Pork Chops.... it's really controlled by your imagination.
Bon Appetit

My family loves fried rice and I make it quite often. You can buy the packet of seasoning and just follow the recipe on the back. It's quick and simple and can be made with beef, pork, chix, or shrimp.
