If there was a gauge for your mind, how would it read?

It varies between 1/4 of a tank to 3/4. Very rarely is it ever empty and even less often is it ever full.

As a student of consciousness, I have found using a simple 1-10 scale useful when describing aspects of consciousness. So, to answer your question, I would have to say "4" meaning a fairly chronic state of mild to moderate depression.

My mental state is questionable at best. I can function pretty well, but I feel I am skating on the edge of a really bad episode.

Most of the time I feel crazy, and as long as I'm thinking I'm crazy, then I must still be okay. It's when I don't feel crazy anymore that people better watch out!

I'd say it was pretty stable at the moment but it can get offset every so often at any given moment.
