The camp is in Napoleon, MI, correct? The average high during the month of September is 73 and the average low is 50 (at night). So, it probably isn't going to be as chilly as 55 degrees when you are out and about.

of course bring long pants and long sleeved shirts, as well as tee and shorts (in case of the weather) most camp settings ask that you wear long pants and a heeled shoe or boot when horseback riding so you might want to find something horeback riding appropriate If you're staying in cabins you shouldn't need to much else, but i would bring a waterbottle and a flashlight. Also, ifyou're a heavy sleeper perhaps an alarm clock and then something to do in your down time or before bed (a book or journal). Clothes wise though. Deffinitely pack for all kinds of weather and it's camp so don't feel like you have to pack 7 days worth of clothes for the 5 days (you can reuse pants and stuff) I spent all summer at camp and those were the essentials, and maybe sleeping stuff (sheets and a pillow) if necessary

If I were you I would bring at least 2 or 3 pairs of short and some short sleev shirts, 1 jacket and about 4 or 5 pair of jeans. And of course your pjs and bath and body products. You want a little of everything because weather is so un predictable.

Bring outfits that can mix and max, and layers. This way you can wear things together and if you get hot or cold you have plenty of sweaters or jackets.
