It sounds to me that you are on the young side. Layered hair is best worn without too many accesories. Keep you hair clean, conditioned, and use a light gel. Go easy on the blow dryer or you will fry it. Use the flat iron sparingly and always with some type of protective spray such Tigi's Headrush. Too may clips and barettes make you look like a little girl, unless that's what you want. Above all, think of your lifestyle and style according what's practicall instead of what is fashionable, but don't be afraid to be trendy.
Mr. M on best do.

put some twists in the front with some sister curls in the back it lasts for a week and it's very cute even cuter when your hair is layer cut!

leave the front down and straight and then spiral curl it and then pin it going up in a up-sweep with the curls hanging down. This look is always pretty no matter what the occasion is. I hope that i have helped you.

How about a perm? Or maybe a mo hawk. Or just go crazy and cut it all off.

grow it long, don't worrry about it, growing it is easy, it just takes time

some men prefer if women brush it once in awhile too
