The tree and the snake(satan) was all for temptation, to see if adam and eve would fall for it or keep obeying god when the devil tempted them into eating off the tree God already knew. Thats why god had to send his only son to take away our sins.

God did not create man for giggles. he created man to have Damion over the earth. had he wanted robots he would have created robots. you are a child of god you have all the power that goes with that. you have the God given right to choose. God gave Adam every thing he should need with only one small stipulation. Man had to than choose whether he would be happy with all the things he had or did he haft to have it all. Well we know he had to have it all (GREED). God your loving father still give it all to you. You only need to confess Jesus , your sins and except Jesus into your life.
