Is there is major strength difference between PRORO-N/APAP 100-650 TAB and HYDROCODONE/APAP 10/500 MG. Switching from one strength to another cause any side effects? Which one contains more aspirin?

Davocet and hydrocodone/APAP (brand name Vicodin) both contain tylenol (acetaminophen) and a narcotic pain reliever (either propoxyphene or hydrocodone). Hydrocodone is a stronger pain reliever than propoxyphene, but the Darvocets contain a little more tylenol. You shouldn't experience any side effects from switching other than possible allergic reaction which is rare. It is safe to say, however, than 10 mg of hydrocodone (the highest tablet dose available) is stronger than the Darvocets.

Im not a pharmacist or anything... but some people can only take one or the other because of an allergic reaction to one. Hydrocodone makes me totally loopy... and darvocet is not as much
