Yes, it is easy to be an agnostic, because science has not proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that God exists.
But, my definition of God is the forces of nature itself, especially at the quantum level. So, I do believe in God in that sense, but not a creator of all things like most religions.

For "Me" the thought is too depressing...I know an Atheist would be far worse...it would like having everything gone..then I'd be reduced to being one of these mean spirited angry people NO WAY!
Once you have tasted of the Lord..you never go back! I know you say you were once a Christian...I'm sorry but I respectfully say to you:I don't believe that!

because agnostics admit that we don't know, and that scares the crap out of most people, the peace in not knowing is hell for them.
and yes, I have been a christian and I thank the universe everyday that I am no longer fooled.
