I'm not really into golf, but I could have sworn I've seen another black golfer in the news and stuff. Anybody know, or am I just retarded?

Lee Elder and Calvin Pete back in the 70's were top notch PGA pros who were not invited to the masters because they were Black and force the PGA to changed the master to a automatic qualifying formula. Charlie Sifford, Jim Dent and Jim Thorpe were good seniors player (Sifford did have moderate success on the PGA regular tour). Blacks were barred from the PGA tour until 1961. Joe Louis was an excellent golfer (but a better fighter).
Michael Campbell a New Zealand aboriginal (Maori descent)l, V.J Singh and Tiger woods all show black skin.
Then of course talking Black there is Bethelpage Black.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.

You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net

TIger is half black and half asian (Thai). Vijay is dark skin but not "Black" or African descent. He's Indian born in Fiji.

Jim Thorpe is the only black person I know that plays but he's on the champions tour. I think there are a couple of "black" players that have gotten tour exemptions on a few PGA tournaments this year.

I believe Tiger is the only black player currently on the tour. However, it's quite possible you mistook Vijay Singh (who is from Fiji, but of Indian ancestry) for a black guy. His skin tone is actually darker than Tiger's.

Tiger is only one quarter black (African American). His father is half black half Indian (I think native American), his mother is half Thai, and the other half is Dutch and Chinese.

Did you now that Nike makes Tiger ball print with Tiger and its only numbered 1. A friend makes joke that it couldn't be Tiger's ball, for its white. Until Nike made a Black ball, supposedly to be used for Par three practices.

There many black players in the golf tournaments; simply because they played golf directly under the sun, and eventually all players turn black.

Vijay Singh is black. He may not be "African-American" or of African descent, but he is definitely black. Saying that Vijay isn't black would be like saying Sergei Fedorov isn't white because he's not "Anglo-Saxon". There are only three actual races -- black, white and asian. Sorry, but Vijay doesn't look japanese to me. And if you're wondering, hispanic is a culture. not a race.
