I have asked this before. He had many woman deciples, like Mary. You are thinking of his apostles.

Did you mean Apostle?
The reason I ask is a deciple means a follower.
Mary Magdeline, Mary the mother of Jesus and many others who were followers of Jesus.
The teaching thing was a no no if you were a woman. That is why Jesus chose 12 Apostles all men it was a Jewish tradition.

Wow, the AllknowingSam is a hateful one....Anyway, if he had chosen women, things would not be the mess that they are today...Women tend to be more spiritual and know more of the nature of God....Men make religions in order to know God...

Look at the example of Mary the sister of Lazarus, she is the only follower of Christ that knew that he was going to die....That is why she anointed him for his burial. The clueless disciples criticized her for the act.

Next go round, God will have women do the work. He has let the men run the ship into the rocks and prove how they drive over the past 2000 years.

He didnt. The books that were to go into the bible were decided by the Nicean Council in Rome. A lot of books were kept out for political reasons. Remember so called Holy Books all have agendas...there are books of other disciples like Mary Magdalene esther and so forth
Think about it...you never even hear of his step sisters and brothers, what did they think about the whole fiasco going on at the time

Some people believe that one of the deciples was actually female, Mary Magdeline.

It could only be covered up due to the fact she was supposed to have married and also given birth to Jesus' child thus dispelling his powers as a possible "Messiah"

2000 years ago palestine was part of the Roman Empire and
women had little or no part in government or public life. In the jewish religion all rabbis were men and women had clearly defined domestic responsibilities. It would have been extremely unusual for women to take a public religious role, although they might have had infuence behind the scenes. IN Roman religion there were the equivalent of nuns in temples.
The elevation of the role of the Vigin Mary and various women saints in the Catholic Church appears to have grown up much later than the first century AD

Men were revered as the ones who continued the family line. It was a greater blessing for a woman to bare a son than a daughter. Men were the spritual leaders of the house hold. Women were to remain silent when it came to the word of God and had to ask their husbands what was taught in the sinagogues. Men are superior to women. That is the way God set it up.

Anyone with any learning at all (rules out a majority of people "riff-raff" who have attempted answers so far) would tell you (I take it that you need to be told because you are so thick you don't know the answer - or do I do you a dis-service because you are simply being l'argent provocateur?) that Jesus lived in a patriarchal society? Sorry for the clumsy sentence structure, but then again, who will notice?

they were not deciles indeed they were different tribes of men. He wasn't gay, because Jesus was rescued from the cross alive and smuggled to India; where he got married had plenty of kids and lived to the ripe old age of 120yrs. So you can forget about this notion of Jesus being gay.

If you look at the painting, the last supper, you will see Mary magdalene in a very central position. What has come down to us is the male chauvanist version of Jesus
