He is a nurse and lives in Arizona, I was going to the army and live in Texas. We have so much in common, and both have strong ties with religon...I do want to meet him...help me please.

If you meet him, definitely do it in a public place.. and get to know him more in person before seeing him in privacy. Other than that, I think it's fine. My uncle met a girl on the internet and moved across the country to live with her.

How well do you know him, after all you met him on the internet? And if you do decide to go, make sure you leave an address and phone number with someone you trust. Just in case.

Other than internet how do you know this guy?
How do you know that he isn't just telling you what you want to hear?
Scary.
You should do a double date, in a public place, and you should drive your own car, and not agree to get into his, or go someplace private, or go anywhere alone, until you're certain that he is who he says he is.

Well, how long have you been talking? I suggest you really get to know him a bit more on the net, and then schedule a flight to see him; you might want to bring a friend with you, just in case.

I would not go if i were yu. But if you really have trust in him then perhaps.....
y don't u tell him to come to you. If he really wants to meet you then he will come. But it is very risky and sometimes dangerous to go and meet someone u just met off the net.
